About CTH in Brief
CTH (The Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality) is an awarding body approved by Ofqual, DCELLS and CCEA who are the official regulators of qualifications, exams and tests in England, Wales and Northern Ireland respectively). CTH qualifications are highly recognized for their quality and value.
Entry Requirements
The selection of students for courses at Diploma level is at the discretion of the educational establishment operating the course. No specific pre-qualifications are required, although it is desirable to have completed formal secondary education. Tuition is in English. Intending students must therefore have reached a reasonable level of fluency. This means that students should be able to communicate in English with a reasonable level of fluency.

Assessment
Each of the modules has a 3 hour examination, set and marked by CTH.
Level
CTH Diploma in Tourism Management is a level 4 qualification.
Progression
On successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a CTH Diploma in Tourism Management. Students will also achieve ACTH Associate Membership of the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality. After successful completion of the CTH Diploma in Tourism Management students will be able to progress onto the Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management.
Course Opportunity
Successful students will have the opportunity to work as reservation & counter staff, sales & marketing staff, travel agency staff, tour planners, tour operators and many others.
Course Delivery
This course is delivered face to face on campus. It requires at least 15-18 hours of full-time class attendance per week. Students are required to attend lectures, seminars, revision classes & mock examinations. This course requires some lab practices as well.
