Entry Requirements

Generally, students should have BCS Diploma in IT or equivalent or any other relevant qualifications accepted by BCS to begin the Professional Graduate Diploma in IT.

Key Dates

Applications must be received by BCS on or before 15th January for BCS Professional Examinations in April and 15th August for BCS Professional Examinations in October.

Subject to Study

Students must choose four of the following Subjects:

  • Realising the User Interface

In order to finish the Professional Graduate Diploma in IT, students must complete a project.

Assessment

The course culminates in a 3 hour written exam. Please be aware that practical experience is required to answer some parts of the Exam.

NQF Level

BCS Professional Graduate Diploma is a Level-6 Qualification.

Progression

Successful completion of the BCS Level 6 Professional Graduate Diploma in IT is recognised by 36 UK universities as an acceptable qualification for entry onto an MSc course in an IT-related discipline.

Course Delivery

This course is delivered face to face on campus. It requires at least 15-18 hours of full-time class attendance per week. Students are required to attend lectures, seminars, revision classes & mock examinations. This course requires some lab practices as well.
