About BCS in Brief
BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, promotes wider social and economic progress through the advancement of information technology science and practice. Entry Requirements
Generally, students should have BCS Certificate in IT or equivalent or any other relevant qualifications accepted by BCS to begin the Diploma in IT course.
Key Dates
Applications must be received by BCS on or before 15th January for BCS Professional Examinations in April and 15th August for BCS Professional Examinations in October.

Entire course membership fee (4 year duration): £40
Examination Fee: £43 Per Module

Assessment
The course culminates in a 2 hour written exam focusing on the one core module and each of the three optional modules of student’s choice. The pass mark is 40%.
Professional Project
In order to finish the Diploma in IT level students must Complete a Project.
NQF Level
BCS Diploma is a Level-5 Qualification.
Progression
Successful completion of the BCS Level 5 Diploma in IT provides consideration for entry into the final year of several IT degree courses with UK universities.

Course Delivery
This course is delivered face to face on campus. It requires at least 15-18 hours of full-time class attendance per week. Students are required to attend lectures, seminars, revision classes & mock examinations. This course requires some lab practices as well.
