About ACCA in Brief
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the global body for professional accountants. It was founded in 1904 in Great Britain and is one of the most highly respected, fastest-growing global professional accountancy bodies with over 493,500 members and students in 170 countries. ACCA members are known as Chartered Certified Accountants.
Entry Requirements
Knowledge Level
Students must have two A levels and three GCSEs in five different subjects including English and Maths, or equivalent or an HND.
Mature Students Entry
Individual over 21 years who do not meet the minimum entry requirements may register through the Mature Students entry route (MSER). This is for students who have the maturity and skills to deal with the ACCA Qualification instead of first undertaking the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification. MSER students must pass the equivalent of paper F2, management Accounting and paper F3, Financial Accounting with in two years of registration.

Progression
Accounting qualifications are synonymous with ambition and ability-a sign that students are capable of succeeding in any chosen field. And, as ACCA member, they will have the potential to rise to the top. Upon successful completion of the course, students may move onto further studies.
B.Sc. Degree with Oxford Brookes University
ACCA and Oxford Brookes University have worked together to develop a BSc in Applied Accounting, which is available exclusively to ACCA students who wish to obtain a degree while studying towards the ACCA Qualification. It is a great opportunity to gain a Bachelor’s Degree.

Course Delivery
This course is delivered face to face on campus. It requires at least 15-18 hours of full-time class attendance per week. Students are required to attend lectures, seminars, revision classes & mock examinations.
